Science teaching should ensure that scientific enquiry is taught through contexts taken from programmes of study on scientific enquiry life processes and living things,materials and their properties, and physical processes.

Children are encouraged to observe, record, develop scientific ideas and concepts, develop skills and use their own ideas and to make critical comparisons.
