Information and Computer Technology

Each child has regular access to a computer and the Internet (including e-mail), enabling each child to be confident with information and communication technology.

A programme of work throughout school will build upon skills learned by the child. Understanding of ICT is required in order to apply it to problems and it makes links to all other areas of the National Curriculum.

The school subscribes to the LEA's internet service that filters out, and prevents the child from accessing inappropriate and possible harmful information (firewall).

We have a 'state of the art' equipped computer suite with all computers 'networked' for whole class or group teaching.
